StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father, she is the daughter of a U.S. citizen. Her brother who is a baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was earlier engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career on Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. The film was nominated as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8] However, it didn't make the final list. 9 Sigman was nominated for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in 2011, for her role in the film. In 2010, she starred in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the next year. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer, which was a Norwegian thriller.
