Ky-ManiThe third album of his untitled debut is almost complete, Ky-mani is certainly a major star in his own right. Ky-mani is a native of Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend as well as Jamaican champion in table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani translate to adventurer. In the sense of an East African man, his albums and travels can be described as an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. He was an eclectic artist that was looking for his own musical niche. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae compilation was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well accepted throughout the world, which established Ky-Mani's status as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani is renowned by his unique mix of hip-hop and R&B mixed with modern jazz.
